On another watch forum out there, much is made of the dislike some individuals have for the so-called "radial flip" of the numerals on a watch dial. Here's what I mean - these two watches do not flip the numerals on the dial, and all of them have the bottom of the number pointing towards the centre of the dial.....this seems commonf with Roman numerals. On this watch, the arabics flip as you move from 1 to 12 around the dial......this is the version that is so hated on the other site..... And to me this last set is the example of an ideal solution. A gradual flip that isn't quite so abrupt.....posted one Aero that was oriented vertically so it was easier to see than the first one. Atomic's 210 is the same but less arabics.... So does the "radial flip" bother anyone?

I prefer either the gradual flip or the non-flip.
When they're flipped abruptly it just seems a little odd to me.

Since they are not seeing the Art of The Dial, I would suggest digital watches. That'll piss 'em off!

For me it depends on the dial. I like my Executive non-flip dial and I love my panny dials. I like the total flip dials too. Nothing wrong with that LIMES dial, IMO.
