As Topper Jewelers is the official WUS Oris Forum sponsor, I have been watching the progress of their Limited Edition (100) Divers Sixty-Five with great interest. The dial has been slightly redone, with no date and also the text and font have been altered slightly, more in keeping with the original watch. Movement is Oris 733, base SW 200-1 modified for removal of calendar position: Here is a shot of the regular Diver Sixty-Five for comparison: The original Oris Divers Sixty-Five has an all-black-coated bezel, the Topper version has a natural steel finish surrounding. The orange bezel pip at the twelve o'clock and the orange tip of the seconds hand are also some changes. Here is a link to more info and pics on this LE model: www.ablogtowatch.com/oris-divers-sixty-five-topper-edition-watch/While I wouldn't say I really like this LE model any better than the one I have, it is certainly very well done and unique. I came very close to pre ordering one, but realized that with exchange, duty and taxes it would end up costing twice as much as what I paid for mine. $2199USD, however, is I feel extremely good value for such a watch, and the fact it is limited to only 100 pieces. Not sure if they are all sold or not. Cheers, Carl

I really like it but I don't see paying a premium for it.

I'm also a bigger fan of the original but think it's cool they did this.

I kinda like the one with the blue faded dial too. Yeah, I really liked it in the photos. And the idea of the blue with tt is great. But when I saw it in real life, my thoughts were that it is just too faded.

I agree with all of you guys. Probably a good thing I got mine when I did. We are at a real advantage in Canada at the moment, with some of the watch prices still the same, or close to, the dollar amount in the USA.
Made a pact with myself: Until I get to see the new Explorer I with all the excellent changes IRL, I am buying nothing. I think it is the best Explorer I to date. But you never know until it's on the wrist. It was admittedly a bit difficult to leave the AD on Saturday without a new Aquaracer. But, now that I have settled down after having a good fight with my impulsive side, I know it would have been a dumb idea. Just as the LE Diver Sixty-Five is not in the cards.

I kinda like the one with the blue faded dial too. In photos, I'm not a fan. I want a blue dial watch badly and have even considered trading my AP 15400 for an AP 15202, but for me it needs to be a captivating blue - the faded just doesn't do it for me in pictures.

Captivating blue.. I think of that Tudor Pelagos that Chip used to have, or a more expensive 116619LB Sub, if you like white gold
