I need a watch box... and I need some ideas on what I could use! I'll only have one on a strap that will lay flat, the rest all buckle up or have bracelets!
In the Omega Boutique in Sydney last weekend I saw they have a magnificent Italian leather storage box but at $575AUD for storing 3 watches it was a bit expensive!!!
At this stage I'm looking for something cheap as when we renovate the master wardrobe, I'd like to put in a lockable draw for jewellery and watches in the actual wardrobe.. IKEA have a great system! But I'm a way off being able to do that to the house!

I bought a Rainier box off the risti accessory board... holds six watches and it's built like a panny box, but bigger. COst me $220 shipped.

Amanda, for singles I like the Roles service pouches, I also have a few of these for multiples, Mine came from The Watch Prince--great guys to deal with. www.thewatchprince.com/

I've got a few winders, but the rest sit in one similar to Mike's. But everything sits in one of these.... Do you want a winder, or just a box? And for how many?

Don't need a winder, at this stage I've only got 1 Auto watch. I'll have 3 g shocks, a big manual wind watch (an incoming) a few bits of junk that belong to my partner oh and I might as well shove that Alpha Triple Date in the box too! So I was thinking of a 10 watch box for now. When we moved house in December last year we actually have misplaced an expensive Polar heart rate monitor, so it would be nice to get them all in one location! About an hour after I mde this post it dawned on me that I've probably asked this question before thats 'cos everytime I'm on a mission to buy one I never actually find one i like at the right price!

Amanda,
Look at the boxes that Steinhausen makes. Decent quality and quite inexpensive compared to others. Check out the Watch Prince web site and even eBay.

Thanks Ben, I've got my eye on a few on the bay at the moment, so I'll probably pick one of those up. I'll update this thread when I get whatever I get

Actually, all you really need is a sock drawer - and I'm betting that you already have one of those. For me, there's an odd satisfaction in tossing an expensive watch into the drawer with the socks. The more expensive the better! -Ben

Unless I'm wearing the watch, I store my watches in a 925 lb. safe right next to my guns.
