Can anyone help with out with this bad boy? Was given to my father by a Swiss client of his and I inherited it a while back. Am always asked what brand it is but can't find anything online. Goes by the name Griffin's Geneve, gold plaque it seems. Pics at links tinypic.com/r/2075m46/9tinypic.com/r/2ducegm/9

Welcome to the forum.
I'm no help on this one. Sometimes these older watches are labeled by the jewelers who sold them with the jewelry store's name on the dial, but with that case back I'd be surprised if that were the case here. Very unique piece.

Welcome to the forum from here as well.
All I can say, is it looks like maybe Geneve (or maybe called Universal Geneve), was commissioned by Griffin's to do a special edition watch. Just like, for example, Toppers in California has commissioned Oris to do a special edition diver watch. There is a jeweler in the UK,called Griffins, which has been in business for decades. Perhaps one of theirs? Anyway, it is a great looking piece. Great logo on the back as well. There are a lot of vintage Geneve watches around.
Cheers, Carl

I did a quick google search for Griffin's Geveve, and found this exclusive club in Geneva, Switzerland: www.gcprive.com/griffins-club-geneva/Don't know how long it has been around. Would be kind of exciting if that club had something to do with that beautiful watch.

Looks like a Quartz, at least based on the subdial placement.
