Hi, I'm trying to buy my first watch (more specificially, a panerai). I wanted to know if there is a reputable website where i can make the purchase. I'm looking into buying a PAM 210.
I've found that some websites offer more competitive pricing compared to brick and mortar stores, but I'm also aware of the fact that I may be ripped off and receive a replica or gray market/parallel imported item instead of an authentic panerai with manufacturers warranty.
Any suggestions? Thanks, your input will be greatly appreciated.

The best places to buy online IMO would be timezone.com, paneristi.com or viapaneristi.com since they are all well travelled sites by paneristi. When I was looking to buy, I put a Want To Buy (WTB) post up on paneristi and within 24 hours I had a half dozen to choose from at pretty reasonable prices. The 210 is a victim of the fake market though, so be careful, get references and buy the buyer before you buy the watch, as they say. If you need any more help, just ask. Good luck.

I'd say go visit www.watches24seven.com Bruce or Bigb as he's known about the traps has a excellent reputation and will look after you. He even ships his watches in such a way that they are insured and the full customs value is not declared on the packaging. Obviously if you are in the same country as him this isn't such a big deal!!! I've heard only good things about him. If he doesn't have a 210, ask him if he's got one on the way or if he can find you one. Good luck and have fun
