So just to change gears from the Rolex design issues..... As you know I own a GO PanoReserve. It has a fantastic movement, and many times I've said "Some days I wish I could wear it with the movement side showing!" Well now it appears that someone at GO heard me! They have released a GO in an XL version that is sort of based on a PanoReserve, but with the back of the movement as the dial! Now I believe if you compare my movement shot with the press photos, the colours of the rubies and blued screws will be much more subdued in real life. I can't say that I really "like" this watch, but it sure is an interesting idea. One big thing missing - the panorama date! IMO that is the cornerstone of the GO model range, and they left it out on this one. BTW I'm curious what the back of the watch looks like.

Interesting concept but I wouldn't want one. ANother hallmark of GO is their dial finish, which sadly you don't get with this one. Needless their movement finish is outstanding, but ... more a collector piece, IMO. And yeah, no panorama date =

I'd rather be poked in the eye than wear that GO! What I like about German watches and what the German manufacturers seem to espouse is traditional, nearly austere watchmaking. It looks as if the GO is showboating and it needn't do that as the GO really stands out on its own merits. I give it one of these BTW, have you seen the new Senator 60's chrono?? Now that watch in SS with the Silver dial and gold hands is what I'm talkin' about. Understated class. Hmmmmmm, me likey. forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tree&goto=3611360&rid=0

GO, and to a lesser extent Lange, has gone with more and more "flashy" pieces lately, especially in the high end area. BTW poke both eyes out and you won;t have to look at that watch.

hmmm..... interesting idea. Not too sure about it, do they make it for men? Just kidding.. I don't like the hour numbers though. A little too bold I think.

Nope. Gotta admit. I don't care for it. I don't like the treatment of the two dials. But....that double swan neck regulator. -Ben

Ok... I'm going to risk being tarred, feathered and run out of town here... but I actually like those last few (winterdream and autumnleaf). Hang on... just a minute! NOT for me to wear, ever, but strictly from a design point of view, for a ladies watch. I think they're rather pleasing to eye. OK, feel free to start laughing at me now

Let me tell ya: I NEED a chronograpgh to finish the collection. I keep looking high end a la Lange Datograph or the JLC Duometre chronograph, but...................the GO Senator 60 Chrono just knocks my sock off for simplistic elegance. I dunno what to do, but wait 'til the watch shows up at Tourneau, then find a dealer who will negotiate.
