About time they got rid of the square blocky lugs. Updated movement and slightly bigger at 41mm. Well done Rolex👍

Pete - you picked my 2 favorites of the lot. I have had a Smurf on order for 9 months and my AD is checking to see if they are filling existing orders. If not, I’ll pass on the new WG sub and look for something else.

I like the simple green bezel and black dial. Just checked the prices here in OZ and the green bezel is $500 more than the black. I like it far better than the so called Hulk.

Nice to hear from you, Pete! I also think Rolex did a great job updating the Sub. The proportions are now perfect. Managed to get my hands on a 1991 14060 in a trade recently, so it's a 2-liner with lug holes. Right now, it has service dial, hands and bezel insert, but I do still have the original bits as well. I think this is the one I will keep my hands on! Cheers, Carl

I can't agree more, it is about time those lugs got a more normal width!!! I'm tempted for the first time in a LONG while. Still keeping my 16610 after 13 happy years, but... Lort knows when we will ever actually see any though.
PS- good to see y'all!

I know he does not log in anymore, but Robb has one coming in today. He probably has it by now. I ordered the LVc, but who knows how long I will wait.

Damn Rolex! Just when I think that I finally have "the one", they go and do an upgrade, including the Kermit. Since it showed up, I haven't been able to get it off my mind. I lost out, a few years ago, when I could have got a mint Hulk, during the transition to the newer super dial and case. And I kicked myself every since. I have stubbornly trying to avoid the new Kermit, but I think that Rolex finally has me in it's clutches once again. So, tomorrow I will visit my AD and get put on the waiting list, and the 14060 will be up for sale. As I will turn 71 next month, I just hope that I live long enough to get it! Cheers, Carl

Does anyone happen to know the shade of green on the bezel of the new Kermit? I was told it is the same as the discontinued Hulk, in which case it would be a no-go for me. I always thought the bezel of the Hulk looked yellowish in some lights, and I think it might just be too bright with the black dial. Difficult to tell, I know, seeing as nobody here has seen one yet.
