The hollow endlinks I had on my omega seamaster SM300 were noisy.

Thanks for sharing this article. I'm all about solid end links regardless to the brand. The only exception would be for a vintage piece.
My Orient has the hollow folded ones similar to the old Rolex style and they've been incredibly problematic. This is why I got the Citizen diver and ordered the bracelet so that when ever swimming resumes I don't have to deal with the bending, flopping around, and even broken spring bars which has happened a few times.
Since they don't evenly support the spring bar I've moved that play in the folded end links is often not just a bent link but the spring bar as well which had too much pressure or force applied to the middle portion, thus curving it.
As much as I loved the 5 digit reference Rolex I once owned I'll never go back to that hollow centre link bracelet. It was such a pain and felt too cheap for what the watch was.
