My only problems with Invicta are the people Hawking them... JS and Eyal, Just a pair of snowbirds talking s _ _ t about a watch that is invaribly sub qualiity in one way or another... Their QC is non existant, their service department is in a rented storage space with one telephone line in and a guy that can't come to work... Just a big scam all the way around... Not saying that some of the watches aren't a potential good value at 75% below advertised retail... and please don't get your dander up, I'm not Invicta bashing... I just think there are much better watches out there, really swiss made or Japanese made watches that are technically superior by far for the same price or less... without a pair of rump wranglers hawking them on cable TV... Disclaimer: not intended to hurt anyones tender feelings because I know that plenty of you have invested in the Invicta craze... Just my humble opinion...

I think most know my opinion on Invicta, and I gave up on them a while back. I have had issues with all but one that I've owned, and to have to send them that money on a brand new watch to send it back for repair is ridiculous. I think it's sad, as they make some styles that appeal to me. When they get some QC and CS I may be a customer again. I know you will get better and faster service on a Timex, and at least their QC sees to it that their watches are as they should be when you get them. I hope Invicta gets their act together, as some of their styles appeal to me. Another issue I have with them is the claims they make for their lume. While I can't speak for the Russian Diver, those that I've owned, that were supposed to have the new stronger lume formula were a colossal disappointment to me in that category. Can't compare in either brightness or length of time to my OM. All mine have been given away and the people do appreciate them, so I'm glad they are getting use.

Things and times change - and so has Invicta Watch Co.
I've always been a supporter of the brand, and I own several - none of which has given me a moment's problem.
But . . . I have to agree with Chops about the marketing. I find the SNBC format to be worthless to me in terms of being able to examine and decide on the purchase of a watch. I'm a salesman by profession, and of course, I appreciate a good pitch. Unfortunately, SNBC doesn't give me one. I doubt that I will ever purchase another watch (I've bought one from them) from SNBC - I haven't watched them in over a year.
Yes, Invicta does make some watches I like, but their choosing to market almost exclusively through SNBC has pretty much taken me out of their customer pool.

Thats it guys its the sell um on TV thing. Think about it when was the last time you bought anything from a TV infomerical. When you can only buy a product online or from the TV thats gotta say something. Its like buying the Super Chef from some TV dude and thinking hes gonna be around to stand behind the warranty next month once its delivered and doesn't work. Invicta has the same type of attitude towards CS (there isn't any) sure they may sell a lot of cheap watches on TV but if theres a problem your told to call some 800 number and ask for some supervisor who doesn't exist WHATEVER. Just understand this only buy Invicta for a cheap watch to enjoy while it lasts, your not getting a ROLEX for peanuts no matter what that YAHOO on TV tells you. Remember if you can't buy an item in a store something ain't right. I can spend beans at the local mart store buy a cheap watch take it back a month later a get a full refund for just about any watch they sell and you know what that $15 mart watch will have no QC issuses and they be happy to give me another one just because I asked. Sh-t I just bought my kid a Timex and for $5.00 which I send to Timex Corp.they will replace the watch no questions asked no matter if she eats it, beats, steps on it, or loses it. Now thats CS.

Jim,udxtdk9, you are very right, and said what I had to say much moe eloquently... When watches or anything else for that matter are reduced to being sold almost exclusively on TV, chances of Proper QC and CS are almost nill. I bought one of the lady divers for my wife a time back and when it arrived the hour and minute hand were loose behind the crystal... I called and called and called and no answer, I sent it back anyway, they returned it just the way I sent it saying I didn't have an RA, so, box and all it went through my wood chipper with the other tree parts.... Thhhhhats all folks.....
