Welcome to the forum! That's a lovely piece there. Sadly I don't have any details on hand, but enjoy learning more regarding the history of vintage watches, Omega especially.

Welcome to the forum! That's a lovely piece there. Sadly I don't have any details on hand, but enjoy learning more regarding the history of vintage watches, Omega especially. I’m looking on my phone so it’s hard to see minute details, so I’m no help either. It’s not common to for me to see a cushion case Omega. But Omega has a system where you can get info on the way the watch left the factory. www.omegawatches.com/customer-service/extract-of-the-archives

You will have difficulty getting an extract for that one. There's no case number inside the case back that I can see. This appears to be a locally made case, rather than one from Omega - this was done in several countries back in the day to avoid customs duties, as it was cheaper to import movements and case them locally than it was to import finished gold watches.
The Cal. 601 in the watch is a reliable movement, and is easily serviced by any watchmaker with an Omega parts account.
Cheers, Al
