That's amazing! The closest I've come to aerobatics thus far would be 60 degree bank / steep turns and familiarization with spins. That latter felt rather intense the first time! Well, so did steep turns, flying tight circles by Lake Ontario. It was a clear day at 3,000 feet so I could see right across to the U.S. After the instructor told me to go wings level, I did so but the spinning sensation remained for a few moments. My hats off to those who do aerobatics and some day I will too!

Thanks for your note. :-) Allow me to say that IMO there are two insurance policies which can be quite useful in some emergency situations to any power pilot, Private SEL to ATP. The first is aerobatic training and the second is glider training. Hopefully you'll have the opportunity in the future to participate in both. Kind Regards, Ron

o2afac67 Appreciate the tip, Ron! Lots of value in those, and I'm excited to eventually try both! The closest I've ever come to an emergency was a radio failure, but we still had com 2 and noticed while doing run up's. When ever I'm doing a takeoff climb out of CYOO, even as a low hours student, I'm scanning and thinking of where to land in the event of an engine failure. Forward pressure on yoke is front of mind to avoid a stall. I'm enjoying the learning process and appreciate your valuable insight!
