I am trying to identify my vintage Delma chronograph and could find nothing in the forum or anywhere online. I even tried contacting Delma and got no reply. I’ve had it about 20 years and is in good working condition. Can any members help me identify details or point me in the right direction? I THINK it’s a 1960’s vintage but not sure.
I want to add some photos to help, but don’t see the toolbar referenced in the FAQ—maybe the photo file upload can’t be done when starting a thread, but only when I post after the thread is started?

I think I’d try Delma again. You appear to have a serial number on the caseback, so they should be able to give you the most accurate info.

Looks like a Valjoux 7733 movement. Easy to service and parts are mostly available. The movement is worth around 150-200 if it needs service but otherwise in okay shape. Case… looks like 36mm chrome plated. It’s one of the hundred plus brands from the 70s that made watches from generally available parts. You print your name on the dial and you have a brand. It’s a super reliable work horse of a movement, so if you like the watch service it and wear it. As far as collector value it doesn’t really have any, due to being form a watch company that’s not a watch company. If that makes sense. I think it’s a cool looking watch so just wear it, it’s got life left in it.

It runs fine currently. Would a time accuracy test be a good benchmark for working condition beyond just the fact that it runs fine? Your comment “a watch company that’s not a watch company” was a bit confusing. This is Delma’s 100th anniversary making watches: www.delmawatches.com/pages/our-historyWould that change its status as a watch company?
