For sure on the current watches, although I'll always appreciate the earlier versions that started this. Albeit great to be content with my current collection, I do enjoy browsing watches for fun. It offen ends with me realizing there's nothing else at the moment that makes me actually want to get it. There are several aspects / design elements on the model below that don't appeal to me personally. The conical Helium Escape Valve (and shoulders to the chronograph pushers), the laser etched wave dial, the bracelet link pattern, all subject. After looking at it online again today the hands actually started to bother me too: Guess I'm just more of a Planet Ocean person now. The other issue I face with considered some other Omega's are the similarities (dial layout) to mine. These are all things I never really thought much about before.

I love sword hands, but not skeleton. Do you remember when swatch returned my Blancpain Trilogy with skeleton rather than sword hands? Man, I was livid.

I vaguely remember and completely understand! To some it may not matter but I'm finally starting to see what many were talking about for years regarding the skeleton hands. That's the type of thing in my opinion they should've either not done or simply have checked with the customer (you) first.
Part of it too is the shape of the newest ones on the watch shown above, the design elements just seem off to me.
No plans on selling the ones I currently own but can't see myself ever buying a watch again with those hands.

wario Beautiful watch! I'm constantly discovering things in your collection through these posts. I much prefer the Helium Escape Valve on that watch.

wario Beautiful watch! I'm constantly discovering things in your collection through these posts. I much prefer the Helium Escape Valve on that watch. Thanks - this one is relatively new to me, and is my second 2254.5. I let my first on go and knew I made a mistake the second it was in the mail. I truly love everything about this watch.
