Its difficult choice stebve.. but would you buy a rolex sub chrono? if you see my point.. i dont think that theys hould have made a chrono of this watch.

A Rolex Sub-Chrono, i bet it would sell!!, but not likely that Rolex would rape its heritage, i do know what you mean

JM... wow! i never knew you had such a piece.. you must have an amazing collection.. every time we have a thread like this.. you never surprise me when you pull out one of your vintage examples! always a joy to see your conniseur collection he he he my collection is full of surprises :-) that is the advantage of collecting watches since 20 years specificly the IWC Ingenieur was belonging to my grand-father, who passed it to my father when he graduate engineer, then to me for the same reason this one is a 3 generations "Ingenieur" watch ;-) cheers JM |

So nothing wrong with IWC quality then!!!!!
don't supppose you know anything of the gent who's responsible for this design, also AP and VC design I believe, hence the similarities
