Neil - that Red is in amazing shape. The case looks very sharp as if it has never been polished. Simply WOW!!!

Neil - that Red is in amazing shape. The case looks very sharp as if it has never been polished. Simply WOW!!! Thanks C, I am the second owner of the watch and I know it spent about ten years in a safe and the first thing I did when I obtained it was send it off to Rolex UK for a full service and a light polish but that was before all this hassle nowadays concerning Rolex servicing one of 'their' vintage pieces but yes the watch is in excellent shape, even if I do say so myself! As the watch and I are both the same age it will be interesting to see who grows old more gracefully!

I had a honor to have vintage Rolex "Red" Sea Dweller and The Mighty Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch on my wrist a few months ago... and I have to agree completely... those domed mineral crystals are something else...
It's how the light reflects from it differently... can't really explain it but they're beautiful.
