i think vintage semasters represent the ultimate frugal watch.. for $200 for a ss one or $ 300 for a gold one, you get an inhouse movement which was amongst the best available in their days, chronometer rated which has lasted at least 50 yrs before you have even got it.. (as opposed to 50 days of a crappy invicta)
