One of the joys of owning a watch is customizing it either through straps, new bracelets etc, Well I have more gumption than discretionary funds at the moment. So new straps, bracelets and new watches are on hold. I dusted off the Dremel (B&D version of it) It was a slow and wet Sunday afternoon and I had not installed the Screws that had arrived for my Swiss diver yet, ( I was still using the Jewelers Screw) and the the 9937 that I won earlier this summer had more than the acceptable number of scratches. I used a hockey puck as a work surface and to get into crevices when the using the edge , and to kinda maintain a curve to the bracelets ( on the outside)Here is the finished product; The highly polished finish on the Swiss made electric blue face diver the Invicta # 2729 like the #9094 but with a ETA 25 Jewel Movement (ETA 2824-2) The blue really loves the high polish to set it off. Well I was at it I also, de-blinged the 9937, and removed all the High polish as well, I removed the bezel as well and removed the high polish from the lugs, It has more of a tool watch finish with the satin finish here for contrast; The Bracelet off while I performed the operation. The tool finish on the 9937 ( to remove the desk diving scratches) The Lugs and SEL connection: I also figured that I would polish up the inside of the High polish watch band as well. ( Good place to practice, I actually tried my hand on on my Beater My Seiko Kinetic Auto Relay ( the band was heavily scratched 5 years of beating)

Cool dude! You've got guts! The finished product looks very nice. I did the same to my 9937 (don't have it anymore)...I liked it a lot more without the polished center links, too.
