i dont suppose you've any specific experience with photoshop elements 3 seems like a fair package to have some fun with my images??? cheers steve I use photoshop 7.0 and/or photoshop cs. elements is more than enough unless you want to get into some serious line of work. Honestly, most of the stuff that I do can be made in elements.

I use photoshop. If you just want to do simple adjustments, Elements is pretty cheap. Apple stores carry it or you can order direct from Adobe.

hi bruce when you say simple adjustments, could you be more specific, to be honest the simple changes within iphoto make me smile, so as you can see im presently easily pleased steve Elements allows you to go way beyond changing the contrast or brightness of the image. It's a photo editing software. you can combine images, cut things out, apply tons of effects... elements does about 30% of what photoshop does. The good thing is that the 70% that elements does not do, you hardly ever use as they are geared more towards professional printing.

LOL. Actually, you can do quite a lot with Elements, but I was referring to adjusting levels: contrast, brightness, colour, etc, cropping and resizing....that sort of thing. You an do alot of that in iphoto, but you have little control over the precision. Now, I'm not very good in photoshop, and I'm using CS now (thanks to a friend), but there's just so much more you can do, even with Elements, over iphoto. I consider iphoto to be something for organizing snapshots, and that's about it
