I think I am going to try Yahoo's new photo hosting. I like the fact that you can download small utility software for PC or Mac and it allows you to upload photos by the batch, one by one or by email. www.flickr.com

I think I am liking this. The free version only allows 20 megs worth of uploads a month, but you get get 2gb worth of uploads a month with unlimited storage for 24 bucks per year. also, both the free and upgraded version allow you to copyright your images and it gives you choices of licensing.

1. How many photos can I upload for free? When you have a free Flickr account, you can upload 20MB worth of photos each calendar month. This is not a storage limit, but a bandwidth (or throughput) limit. At the end of each calendar month, your bandwidth allowance is reset to zero again.
If you make a mistake when you're uploading (for example uploading the wrong photo) and then delete that photo, it doesn't free up upload space. You are still using some of your bandwidth allowance, so deleting the photo and republishing the correct one still eats into your monthly total. Your upload percentage for the current month can be found on the upload photos page.
You might like to consider either taking photos at a lower resolution to start with, or resizing your photos to a more web-friendly size (like 300KB instead of 5MB), particularly if you know that most of your photos will only be viewed on screen.
Top 2. Can I pay to keep more of my photos on Flickr? Absolutely! Upgrade to a Pro Account for just US$24.95 a year. Here's what you'll get with a Pro Account:
2 GB monthly upload limit Unlimited storage Unlimited bandwidth Unlimited photosets Permanent archiving of high-resolution original images The ability to replace a photo Ad-free browsing and sharing Compare that to what you get with a Free Account:
20 MB monthly upload limit 3 photosets Photostream views limited to the 200 most recent images Storage of smaller (resized) images For more information, visit our upgrade page.
I really like the fact that all you have to do is drag and drop folders onto the app that you download from them. And I like the copyright stuff. All the pics are automatically copyrighted with a Creative Commons License.
