He sent Tam an email tonight saying he bought me a new toy to play with when we get to the UK. It's a Canon EOS 1 film camera. He collects film cameras like we collect watches, except worse Don't know why I even bother looking at them 'cause he's like a camera store! I can hardly wait to get my hands on that baby!!

That's cool!! Unfortunatelly I'd be lost with something like that. I know nothing beyond "Set the camera on Auto and shoot".
(which is why I learned photoshop)
Now you need a film scanner. ;D

Yeah the equipment needs never seem to end. I have a scanner, but it's not real high res, and I don't know yet if we'll even take it. Nowdays you can get your film transfered to a CD when you get it developed. The pro shops will even do high res drum scans. Not cheap though, which is why I've stayed digital!
