I'm re-listing this watch with some new facts, and thus a lower price. You will see from the pics that the rolled gold plating on the pushers is beginning to wear from normal use of the pushers. I've been told that Breitling will replace them at service for a "nominal" charge. Not sure what that is, though.
This is something I discovered while taking these pics, and had never noticed before! My apologies to those who contacted me on my previous ad, as I was really unsure whether it was an optical allusion or not.
This watch is at least 5 years old, but bought completely refurbished from the new Tourneau store on Grand Bahama Island last spring. It is in excellent condition. The case and bracelet have very few hairlines. There are some swirls in the gold, as one would expect, but less than you might expect on a watch this age.
I'm not exactly sure of the manufacture date. The serial number begins with B130, which places it before all Breitlings were COSC certified. The watch is an excellent time keeper, and the chronograph functions perfectly. I wore the watch for a few days recently, and the time keeping was near dead on!
I bought the watch with no original box or papers. The case diameter is 39mm. It's an elegant, yet sporty timepiece. New versions of this watch sell between $5,000 - $6000, depending on the exact model.
I've reduced the price to $2200 shipped to CONUS. I'll accept wire transfer or cashiers check. I have plenty of TZ references. Please contact me by email at bsiebenthall@yahoo.com.
Thanks for looking,
Bruce
