Swiss Army Air Force 9G-600 Chrono Model # 24461 ($1095 original selling price)
Here is an expensive way to add a Val. 7750 movement to your collection, I have heard that the movement itself is back ordered a year and cost $300 just for the movement.
If you have never felt a 7750s' heartbeat on your wrist or the buzz of the super-smooth high-speed rotor, your in for a treat.
• 100% Made in Switzerland with 25 jewel automatic chronograph Valjopux 7750 movement.
• Stainless steel case and screw back with gasket.
• Three recessed mini-dials: elapsed time to 30 minutes, elapsed time to 12 hours, permanent small second hand.
• Water-resistant to 10 ATM (100 meters/330 feet).
• Date calendar at the 4, o'clock postion.
• Sapphire crystal, anti-reflective treatment both sides.
• Luminous hands, markers and dots.
• Full size Stainless Steel Band which can be adjusted to any size with divers extension.
• Stainless steel buckle with engraved Swiss Air Force logo.
I am making room in my collection.
We have a new as of summer of 2005, it has been loving worn (but not as a beater, it has the usual desk diver scratches, everything functions perfectly as it should, I would rate the bracelet at 70- 75% I would rather be overly hard with my grading than to disappoint anyone.
The rest of the watch case and movement is perfect, with the exception of a micro scratch in the A-R above the hour tracking sub-dial (6'o'clock) it is about as long as a minute indices on a 9937 an thinner than a hair it is really hard to find.
Anti-glare reflection on the Glass. The dial is really clean, no exhibition back, but it does have the standard deep dish design of the case. The bracelet even has the diver extension. The date is nice at the 4 o 'clock position, the watch has been keeping great time, it has a nice heft to it as well. I believe that it is a 41-42 mm case ( it is approx the same size as the Pro-Diver)
This has the 28K VPH smooth sweep hands, both sub-dial and the chrono second, The Valjoux 7750 is a "built like a tank" JS. here is more info about the 7750 : www.timezone.com/library/horologium/horologium631672313433425752
$300 US Paypal ( no fees ) plus actual S&H. Priority is about $4.85 (plus I think $1 per $100 for insurance at your option). ( I will ship USPS priority mail with tracking. US & Canada only. ( not responsible for Canadian customs ) Box and papers, hangtag (SA gumdrop) ,original $1095 price tag and links.
Here are 2 auctions that I did a quick search on although they are NIB:
