For sale is my Alpha "Paul Newman" chrono that I purchased last year. Now that I have my Sinn chronograph this watch is not getting any wrist time at all. It has been worn sparingly since I bought it, and is in good shape. There aren't any significant marks on it, and even the bracelet shows little wear. This is a manual wind chronograph, and the crystal is acrylic. It has certainly been a solid watch for me. Back view: I'm asking $80 US + shipping for this watch. I would prefer PayPal. Thanks, Al

Bump for a nice watch from a great guy. I saw this watch this weekend. It's remarkable how good this looks, particularly for the price.
Somebody buy this watch!

That might be a good one for my brother. So if it sits unwound most of its life, you think it can handle that ok?

I don't really wear it much and it hasn't suffered from sitting, so as long as he wears it once in a while it should be fine. However if he wants something with any water resistance, this is probably not the watch for him. These things basically have no rating, so it won't be anything like the dive watch it's replacing.

Good point on the water bit.. he's a litle smartass too, likely to dip it in water to prove he knows more than I do about watches thats it, I'm buying him a used timex for 5 bucks for now pissing me off
