Thanks, Chip! I had seen the watch yesterday and it was on SALE because it has been discontinued. So who cares? ;D Still brand bloody new and still with a fresh two year warranty....and those Romans and the white striped dial just sang out to me....along with the superbly crafted Pilot bracelet....GRAB ME>>>GRAB ME!!!! It was too good to pass up, Chip. Besides, this is my first Chronograph...the Daytona is still way out of my budget!!

I am a huge fan of Roman numerals myself! Who cares that is discontinued? That would make me want it more. Bachendorff here in Dallas has a gorgeous white face Crosswind ( I think) big date on display and I salivate every time I see it.

I can't believe you bought a watch that is 1. Not a Rolex and 2. Not TT. Oh....he's done it before. Planet Ocean for one. But JJ, I do recall you saying you're only buying ROLEX ROLEX ROLEX from now on. This was less than a month ago.

Oh....he's done it before. Planet Ocean for one. Just thought he'd decided to go Rolie from now on; couldn't believe JJ had bought something not Rolex. Rambler

Loved the white dial with Romans, loved the Pilot shiny bracelet and loved the chronograph feature....and all that for just US$2,400? Would any of you passed it up? JJ
