Hey everyone, So I think I want to get myself a beater watch. Here is what I am looking for: Bulletproof (not literally, of course!) Automatic Diver-style Price range: $100-$175 Compatible with NATO-like strap Added bonus: chronograph (that may be asking a bit too much) I'm thinking I want to go with a Seiko diver (unless anyone knows of a higher-quality watch for a similar price). Let the ideas fly!!!!! Santa's getting anxious

I think have everyone should have a little pet monster. Never seen one on a nato though, probably wouldn't fit those short lugs.

2nd vote for a Monster. Way cool watches for under $150 bucks. Never seen one on a nato though, probably wouldn't fit those short lugs. A NATO does fit Warren....20mm. Although it seems too out of balance to me. The watch case is so heavy that it just feels weird on the wrist. The rubber strap looks sharp though. Might want to check into a Samurai, too. Those are sweet. I was actually thinking about picking up a black dial titanium one. The Ti version is closer to $250 I think....but the SS version should be in your price range.

Thanks... it's an 01B, from 1999. The 01 is the predesessor to the 111. I just love it. At first I missed not having a date on my watch... not I don't even care what day of the month it is. Now, I'd just like to move my ExpII and replace it with a PAM210.
