How long is it taking you to whip these beauties up Atomic? ? Very nice by the way Thanks.... the cutting takes about 10-15 minutes, the gluing not including wait time for drying takes maybe another five, takes about 10 minutes to make a keeper. To etch and awl the holes, maybe 5-10 minutes, to stitch both sides, about 35 or 40 minutes, then any painting/burnishing, five minutes. So about 90 minutes or so, again, not including glue drying time (and the glue I use dries pretty quick). If I didn't put sewn-in keepers on, I would save more time since there isn't as much fiddling with a floating keeper, but I prefer the sewn-in look and feel. Plus, not many non-commercial makers build straps with sewn-in keepers.

Nice work there, John! Have you found a new vocation or are you keeping your day job?

Nice work there, John! Have you found a new vocation or are you keeping your day job? Um... No... I think the likes of Simona, Micah and Gabomagic can breathe a sigh of relief.
