Well I did pick up a new addition while in Hawaii. No not a Rolex. 
, but an example that caught my eye and one that I've been thinking would make a nice "any condition" piece.
I admit I've had an urge to get an example with tritium gas vials for a while and this one got my attention.
A Luminox 8401. Part of the Stealth Ops line, the watch measures 44MM and comes with a PVD blackened case with a screw down crown and back.
The crown guards are nicely done and provide good protection to a very smoth feeling crown.
The rubber strap is very soft and comfortable to wear, not the "stiff" feeling I've experienced with some pieces of this type.
Of course the gas vial lumination needs no light source as said to last for 10 years. The only luminova used is the bezel dot which does need exposure to light to activate.
The watch came with a nice travel style case and generic instruction manual.
It's a quartz so accuracy is a non issue with me. Since setting it last friday when I got it it's been spot on.
