As long as you are sensible with your vintages, should be no problem.. i wear my omega pieces which are 40+ years old incl. divers with no problem.. but wuldnt go diving with them, or swimming etc.. i basically treat all my vintages as if they arent waterproof, whether they are dive watches or not. also for rsarer pieces i dont wear them if i go mountain biking, gardening etc etc..

I would hate to think of my old Seamaster as vintage (1970), but I guess it is. No problem as a daily wearer but as the others have said, I treat it like it's an old guy and with a load more respect.
