Not a watch, but certainly watch related. After years of working at my kitchen table, on a very small work surface shown here.... Today my new custom watchmaking bench was delivered in two stages. First the base unit: Then the custom made maple top - 1-1/2 inches thick, 27 X 65, nice and solid. I will now move my entire operation to the den, and be able to store all my tools and supplies in one location. The unit is not quite finished yet as I have to mount my work light, and then make the arm rests for the table. I can use it as it is now, but the arm rests will make this a perfect work surface that I can use for hours with little fatigue. I'm very excited about this! Woohoo!

Wow that is nice! You're really getting serious about this aren't you. How far are you gonna go with it? Could be a very good side gig.

Yes, I'm definitely taking this more seriously. Not sure where it will lead but I have signed up for more training, so it will be an adventure.

Real neeto! Looks like a very hungry carpet that bench is sitting on! You may want to think about some other type of floor covering in that area for those parts that just need to "escape" .
