Well, when I saw the title of your post the first maker that came to mind was Marcello C. So I was glad to see that you had it listed here. I owned both a Rolex and a Marcello C Nettuno 3 and held them side-by-side. I firmly believe that the Nettuno 3 certainly rivaled, and in some ways, surpassed the Rolex in nearly every category. It honestly made me wonder how Rolex justifies their pricing. Sorry to Rolex bash. I'm a bit wound up today. Just ask Al. I don't have a real opinion on the Invicta - other than to say that I'll never own one. I've just never been able to get past their hideous logo. It's ugly and takes up too much space on the dial. And, no, I'm not sorry for Invicta bashing. -Ben

I have long admired the Marcello Nettuno and have read lot's of good things about them though I have never actually seen one. It's a little disappointing that the prices have increased as much as they have. The original Invicta sub clones were amazing for the money. I have an 8926 and every time I look at it I can't believe it only cost 115 dollars, it remains one of the best bargains I ever got.

I'm a bit wound up today. Just ask Al. What he said! BTW I have no opinion on sub clones, really. ;D

Since Al won't say it, I will. Best sub clone is the Rolex Submariner because Rolex ripped off the design from Blancpain and their Fifty Fathom.
