You know the ads you see sometimes (Wall Street Journal, Local major newspapers) for U.S. Marshalls and Law Enforcement agency auctions? A lot of times you'll see popular name watches attached to these auctions. Have any of you tried "INVESTING" in well known or antique wristwatches by competitive bidding? Was it worth it? What was the minimum price you offered for your watch? How much was your winning price? Do any of you thinkgovernment auctions would be a good starting place for beginning wristwatch investors?
