Just arrived today: A brand new 1125 bracelet with 560 end pieces. It works, doesn't look awful, but I think I need # 617 end pieces, for a more proper fit, instead of the 560s that came supplied with the bracelet: KAT

Looks good, KAT. I don't know if I would ever change out the steel bracelet on my Speedy, although when I got it I did consider a mesh one, which looks amazing also.
I'm actually going to the Boutique tomorrow, and looking at a leather strap for the AT. I never thought that I would be even thinking about it, and this soon, but the idea came into my head this morning.
I actually tried on the FOIS last Sunday, thinking that I might prefer the slightly smaller size. However, once on my wrist, it really didn't seem any smaller. I think the fact that mine is non-symmetrical, with the extra 2mm around the crown and push pins makes the size difference barely noticeable.
Cheers Carl

Looks good, Kat. Was your Speedy originally on a bracelet?

Irwin, The First Omega in Space ONLY comes on a brown leather strap, which has disappointed many enthusiasts. After doing some research, I found that the 1125 bracelet should fit, so I had my Dealer order one directly from Omega. The 1125 is retro, like thewatch, so is a good match, I think. KAT

Kat, I'm a bracelet guy, big time, but yours looks great with the strap.

Kat, I'm a bracelet guy, big time, but yours looks great with the strap. I was thinking the same thing, after seeing the pics together. Omega did a nice job with this watch, and the strap is a big hit, but it's nice to have the option of a bracelet, especially in the humid NJ Summers. In general, I think the Speedy looks better on a nice strap.....on anyone. The 1125 bracelet is fairly inexpensive, especially going through my guy, so worth the investment. KAT

Here is my FOIS on the 1125 using the 617 end pieces: The 560 end pieces do not reach to the ends of the lugs like the 617s. The trick with the 617s is to use 1.5mm spring bars.

The bracelet is superb, I really like the closer tolerances of the new end pieces. I too feel there should be a choice between this set up and the strap, or perhaps even both could be included?
