Simple question. We haven't done this one here yet. Which do you prefer? and maybe, why? Love the Dwelller, very tempted by the Sub (LV). Tough choice. Both classics for sure. Thoughts. Comments. Rambler

Sea-Dweller for me!!, "the Ultimate Rolex Tool Watch" which no one can dispute!, no options just to cater for tastes, sold just as it was meant to be!, and with a history and heritage money can't buy. steve

I remember doing this once before and I voted Dweller. Like my wife however,I've reserved the right to change my mind! ;D I kinda prefer the Sub/date. A little lighter.the cyclops makes the date easier to read, just feels right. I understand about the choice being difficult though Rambler,I found a solution: [http://imageshack.us] [/URL]

I voted Sub....again. The Dweller is too thick for my taste as I've got a fairly scrawny wrist. Mike made the right decision....buy them ALL! psst Mike....you need a 5513 or 14060 in there.

I did not see the option for both. If I had to choose just one, I'd opt for the for the Sub.

No brainer...if you love the cyclops, then Sub-date 16610 or the LV; if you prefer a smooth crystal then the SD.

The 16610 is very nice but the SD pulls me in every time.

I vote the SD... The Submariner is a beauty.. but i do not like the cyclops that much.. + some stupid thing.. A divers watch should have a helium release valve.. that is of course just my opinion.. Rolex watch of that price.. should include that function.. -> SD

This is a tough one for me. I've owned a 14060 and a 16610, and always wanted a SD. However, I tried one on recently and didn't really like it. That could be because I was used to much larger watches by then. I've always heard that the dial was smaller in diameter on the SD, and it really seemed so to me. Can someone explain why that is. The difference in thickness is neglegable to me, but then I'm used to Panerai now

I voted Dweller. All tool, and a diving icon.

Had to go with the SD, as I am thinking of getting one myself, but I work slow!
