Welcome to the forum! I've never spent a lot of time learning about Panerai but certainly appreciate the brand. I think it's a great looking piece and also like how it was done in a meaningful yet subtle way.

Love the shot! I'll have to take one with my kneeboard and landing pattern computer but the photography (both the equipment and my skills) are nowhere near this!

carl Excellent review! Exceptional engineering went into those piece, for sure. Such a cool, unique system for the unidirectional bezel. I'm willing to bet it feels very nice to operate. I've got a great deal of appreciation for IWC and what they've done for watches over the years. They've created great alternatives to design elements so many brands have done the same for the most part. Glad to see how happy you are with this watch, Carl!

Baco Noir - I'm so glad they upgraded your rental vehicle for you, Wildman! Back when I had to rent a car I requested a Spark (don't ask me why) but got a Cruz instead. It wasn't much better but at least I didn't require major assistance getting out of it as I would with a Spark. They also included Sirius XM radio in the rental which sold me on the service. When I picked up my (new to me) car from the dealership I subscribed and have enjoyed this service ever since.

Baco Noir - Indeed! A wonderful opportunity for the lucky bidder. I like seeing these chances for true collectors to arise. This is such a lovely watch, I've seen pictures posted on another forum where someone put it on a bracelet, stunning!

Lest we forget. I've got the Breitling on my wrist today, of course. I made sure to take a moment of silence at 11:00 AM on this 11th day of the 11th month.
Working from home I was sure to keep the clock up on the laptop to not miss this. 4 minutes before the 11th hour I heard a multi-engine aircraft fly over, had to be 3,000 feet or less. Seconds later I heard another one pass over, so I went to the window to look out.
To my surprise there were two Lockheed C-130 Hercules aircrafts, one following the other with what seemed like less than 1,000 feet of separation. They were headed West (270 degrees roughly) towards Toronto. They likely did a fly over for a Rememberance Day ceremony.
We take so much for granted, it's human nature. Today I'm especially grateful for all that made the ultimate sacrifice to give us the freedom we enjoy.

CHIP fair point. It's a shame as options will be more limited but for folks who love NATO straps they're set. I'm all about bracelets so I'll be in the same boat here.

A neat watch for strap fans, for sure. It'll be much stronger than having springbars or another more easily detached mechanism to secure the strap.
