Baco Noir What an absolute beauty! I'm so happy you got this watch.

aerome I once saw a Brosnan era watch (film used, apparently) for sale on a dealer in the UK who had documentation. Not sure what it went for but wish I at least inquired. I added this one to my actual watch list on eBay and it gets closer to being over. There's only one way to find out and time will tell.

Oh wow, I had no idea! Agree with that estimate there and could see it pulling even more if enough people are willing to fight it out near the end.

I had similar thoughts earlier on in the auction. I would LOVE to own a Snoopy, but especially this one given the connection of ownership to an Omega ambassador.
I'm not sure what a typical Snoopy with a full set goes for these days but this thing will very likely sell for A LOT more than $20,000 USD.

Oh my goodness, wow, indeed. Never would have expected that but guess I didn't fully understand the history or desirability of that piece to potential buyers.

I did notice that, yes! It's good to see freight moving but not nice to think of the potential delays that very scene is causing at various stages of the supply chain. Not a fun time to be working at one of those receiving ports, I bet.

carl - Stunning lume! Incredibly legible and I bet it'll light the room up so to speak after being charged.

lagunatic - Great pictures! The scenery there is lovely, even on an overcast day. The Submariner still looks great, as always. How's the time keeping currently?

Baco Noir That Breitling looks great on your wrist! CHIP Love that Zenith! Such a stunning piece and the colour really works in my opinion. After so many years of being into watches it's refreshing to see something different / original used in such an elegant, successful way.

priamo - Agreed. As much as I'm all for keeping things original, I can't bring myself to wear watches that are too faded or damaged. I'm not sure how easy it would be to source the period correct insert through private sellers these days, but I would likely go that route so I've got the replacement and could have an independent watchmaker swap them for me vs. Rolex keeping (or discarding) the original.
