I agree Baco Noir that the full RG would look amazing on that Oyster rubber!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes on this pick up. It’s been a few minutes since I put my name on the list for this one and didn’t even think I would get the call. I’ve never worn gold before, in fact I don’t even wear my gold wedding ring any longer. I’m still trying to decide if it’s right for me, as beautiful as it is. Don't concentrate on the gold only. Just the overall aesthetics of the watch. I am biased, because it is my favorite Rolex. I have only seen it once in real life. It was at a non-Rolex AD, and it was a premium over the original. I almost went for it! I had previously seen the all Everose at an AD, and didn't think I would like the TT. Sometimes you can't explain these things. But, for me, this watch just works so well. In the end, of course, you have to love it. And, after all, you don't have anything to lose. Only to gain regardless of how long you keep it. Just wear it for a while, and give it a chance.

Congratulations rw16610 it's another great looking piece. It looks great on both those straps. Would be great if you can get the original repaired. Very unique. Really like the looks of this piece overall. The lume has aged beautifully and still intact. And I love the bezel on these. Great collection you are getting!! I think it's time I started looking for a good vintage piece as well. The AD, Russell Jewellers, where I got the O&W has an incredible watchmaker. Literally able to work on anything.

Wow! Huge congratulations! Sorry I am so late to congratulate you! This is awesome. Actually, it is my favorite Rolex. I have only seen one of these, and loved it instantly. Very hard to get this model I think. So you are one lucky guy, and I am very happy for you, if not more than slightly envious!

1000 meters! Carl, you better not go that deep and get in trouble down there because I haven’t got a watch to wear if I have to go save you lol Congratulations! Thanks, Chip! Definitely one thing that impresses me most about some dive watches, is how they engineer such high water resistance in a very moderate case size. Also the crown size, ease of operation and robustness is one really important issue with me. I always use the Rolex Sub as a benchmark when I test crown operation on a watch. This one passes with flying colors!

rw16610 thank you very much! So lucky to have an AD locally! And a great team they have as well. I had my eyes on this one for a few months. I have also been trying to sell my Breitling Norton. So today we did a trade with it, and I am getting some well needed cash as well. Somehow my intention not to get a new watch went by the wayside! I love how it looks on the Beads of Rice bracelet, and it's now my only watch with a steel bracelet.
