Baco Noir Wow! When I read the top of your post, I thought you were kidding. But I guess the high altitude?

Thanks, Roger. Not sure about a name, other than I have also seen it referred to as a coin edge and also fluted on the Hanhart website. I had missed out on a Tutima Flieger 1941 a few years ago, and regretted it. It had the same type of bezel. I have been waiting for Tutima or Hanhart to come out with a similar model with this bezel and also a manually wound movement. Finally they did, at least Revolution did having Hanhart do the watch for them. To my surprise, the price is almost the same as the Tutima was that I missed out on! Carl does the bezel rotate? The red marker has me wondering. BTW congrats.. Thanks, Mark. Yes, it is a bi-directional rotating bezel, but non-ratcheting.

Absent is the signature Hanhart red chrono pusher. Well, not all of the Hanhart chronographs have it. It seems that the mono pushers, and some of the models with 2 pushers have it. It seems to be on the models with the asymmetrical pushers, each pusher being a different distance from the crown. The original 417 that this one is based on never had it, though. Apparently the red pusher was so pilots would not inadvertently return the chronograph back to zero.

carl - Congrats on the new bronze. Is there a name for that style bezel with the coin edge abs red at 12? I’ve seen that on a couple of other watches but have never seen a description for it. Thanks, Roger. Not sure about a name, other than I have also seen it referred to as a coin edge and also fluted on the Hanhart website. Hanging out in the shed. Making another patio table out of fence post ends. Jenga style for this one :-) That is a cool looking table!

Nice to hear from you, Pete! I also think Rolex did a great job updating the Sub. The proportions are now perfect. Managed to get my hands on a 1991 14060 in a trade recently, so it's a 2-liner with lug holes. Right now, it has service dial, hands and bezel insert, but I do still have the original bits as well. I think this is the one I will keep my hands on! Cheers, Carl

priamo I did see this one at the Boutique. Impressive watch, and story behind it. But, yes, it is expensive. This is the LE one at $7200CAD.

Baco Noir "3) go full baller mode and get the RG Rootbeer GMT". It is stunning, and one of the very few GMT models I have managed to see in real life. I have seen it a couple of times at my AD. While I realize that jealousy is one of the ugliest human traits, I will do my best to simply feel very, very happy for you if you settle on that one! I actually tried on both yellow gold and red gold Day Dates, and was really pleasantly surprised how little "bling" the Everose has. Good luck in your decision!! I got to try on the 2-tone in NYC and I loved it! I think the full baller watch modded on the Oyster Flex could be a smashing combo! I agree, but either way it is likely THE nicest GMT watch I have ever seen!!
