Still waiting for Canada post to get its arse in gear and update tracking on the Fusee. According to the Royal Mail it arrived in Canada on Saturday and yet Canada post bless em still show the number as not in their system! I had this a few times before and each time I got home to find the package and the system still saying number not in their system.. Arggh! So I shall pass the time with these two beauties today!

Such a beautiful pocket watch Roger, made even more so by the family history.

I'll play! If I remembered how to get to the back of the watch, I would post photos of the movement as well. Too bad I cannot figure out how to pop it out anymore. It's hinged right below the crown and I cannot remember how to get the crown stem out of the movement.

I'm upset with the fact that I can't remember how to flip the movement out.
I thought you just take the crystal off and it comes right out if you twist the crown but it's not doing it.

Such a beautiful pocket watch Roger, made even more so by the family history. All your photos made me wonder why I was leaving mine in the the glass storage bell - especially after having ti services by Al in 2011. Now I just need to look for a gold or gold tone chain to replace the leather one I have to class it up a bit more.
