I am looking into getting a new watch for Christmas. You know that I'm pretty much a die hard Omega fan and the speedy is the one watch I have been wanting for a long time, but somehow something different always cuts in line... Few months ago I put off the Speedy to get the PO. Now that I got the go ahead from Faith, I have an itch for the Exp I. My AD offered 5% off any SS Rolex I want. Maybe I can get more off the Exp since the have several of them in stock. Which one and why? Help me!  |

As long as you have wanted the Speedy Pro, I'd say get that. Also, you will have $1.5-2.0K left in the bank if you buy a Speedy compared to the Exp I. I LOOOOOOVE the Exp I, so you can't go wrong there either.  Yes....tough choice. |

very tough choice.. ultimately comes down to whether you want a chrongraph or not? Where it my decsioni would get a gently used speedy pro for about $1000 which you can find fairly easily, keep it for a while..if it still does it for you then keep it.. if it doesnt then flip it.. you wont lose any money.
The exp 1 is also a classic, but cant get over the shiny bezel

I'd go with the Omega for sure. If you always wanted it, it will haunt you until you get it.

For you Chip, I think you should get the Speedy because you've wanted one for so long and you are mainly an Omega guy. Just makes more sense for you, I think!
