Exactly, but I may surprise you, a lot has happened in my life Karl and I've made drastic changes for the better, I found something in myself where I no longer need to be so judgmental with material things nor in people. That said I still recognize a deal when I see one. Understood, Steve - I meant no harm, I just know that you love vintage, that's all. None taken my friend. I wanted to move away from vintage for a long time but got sucked into the Red which was way above what I should have ever paid for a watch, so I sent it back—at a loss—and grabbed the white 1680 at which point I needed to sell to visit my dad, now on returning I feel I need to look for the perfect watch and I was getting sucked into vintage again and I didn't want to. I then decided to search for the LV which is what I wanted from the first time they came out, I had a chance to trade a MF 5513—back when they were still cheap—but backed out of the deal. I have regretted it ever since.

That makes sense - and it clearly makes a lot of sense to you, which is the important thing. Tastes and 'needs' change and we adjust our priorities in life, and with good reason. I know what you mean as well - I've thought of selling mine and having the money back, but I believe I'd regret it, and I still enjoy them. Obviously, if I needed to, they'd soon be listed, as they are not that important. I suspect you will own vintage again some day in the near future. Best wishes, K.

I have been leaning towards the LV simply because I had the chance to pick one up for a song some time ago and passed and have been regretting it ever since. That's when I ended up going over to the dark side of vintage and have been screwing up buying these pieces and selling them since and in the end I have been unhappy, there's always some small thing wrong that I don't like and end up selling. You said it best here, Steve. Since you're not happy with your vintage selections, the LV is the way to go.
