I guess it's time I find out what the strap madness is all about. What do you guys think should be my next strap? I quite like how the OEM strap tapers from 26 to 24mm, I think that makes the clasp size a lot more manageable. A 26mm clasp would be quite big! The problem is that I cannot easily find a strap that's 26/24. Straight straps are all over, but so far only ABP Paris has one with a taper, and that's because they will make whatever you want. At a very large price. Taper aside, what do you think would look good on this?

And so the madness begins... I really like like the look of the Gunny straps, they seem good value as well considering they are handmade. gunnystraps.blogspot.ca

Yup, those are good.
I used to have a Mario Paci for one of my homages and I absolutely loved it. Probably because it cost twice as much as the watch did lol.
Have you looked at those Ian?

You know, a thought. Something to occupy you on the dark winters nights, why not try making some yourself. After all, Texas is famous for its leather working. How about a western inspired tooled leather strap? I reckon that would look stunning

We have similar taste ianmedium. The alligator is in my cart but I just can't pull the trigger. Look at the custom made section, he has that same alligator in a 26/24 configuration.

I was wondering what the lug width was on yours so it's 26/24, I will remember that. All I am going to say is... PULL THE TRIGGER!!!! I just reckon that gator strap is a work of art.

That's what I'm thinking. Between that and the OEM rubber, I should be more than covered.

I just checked and the OEM Assolutamente strap is actually 26-22, not 26-24. Most Panerai owners prefer a straight strap but I actually like the taper, I think it's more comfortable. A 26-24 would be okay too but I'm not sure about the 26-26. I've never had that on my wrist before, my homage was a 24mm luminor case with a 24-24 mario paci distressed strap. That fit great. You will NOT stop at 3 or 4... or 5. Ouch, that croc is nearly 350 bucks! Good luck, Chip!
