Ron, have you looked at the green dial YG GMT? That thing is amazing. Out of those two I'd pick the sub.

Ron, have you looked at the green dial YG GMT? That thing is amazing. Out of those two I'd pick the sub. Or the Day-Date. I can't decide. They're both wonderful. I'm most indecisive person in the world.

Also, Ron, bearing in mind what I said above: "The DD oozes class...", I can honestly say that the DD suits you better!

I prefer the Sub BUT I prefer tool watches in SS.
So.. DD it is.

Thank you for your opinions everyone. I decided on the all gold Submariner-Date because I like the glidelock clasp, the big glow in the dark watch digits. I like the black dial and bezel and that big chunk of gold that shines in the sunlight. I guess I'm just a Bull S#%t artist. HaHaHa !

That glidelock is a work of art and it makes it hard to like any other type of clasp!

The DD is a dressier watch and I enjoy wearing mine when out on the town. The sub has a beefier case with a lot of wow factor. I know folks who use both as their primary watch and they seem happy. Also look at the Daytona and GMT if you're spending that kind of money. I like the Daytona because it has less of an "In your face" effect than the Sub or GMT.
I've bought many new watches from Peter at MP Demetre and on a new watch from an AD, he's treated me the best by far. Peter is also on the forum. Hoping he has the Tudor line in the spring, I've already picked one out.

There are days when I just want to wear something shiney and blingy as well. It's one of those days for me today, too. Unfortunately, what I might find is likely not to be included in the Boxing Day sales! Wear it with pride and I am sure the fun you have with it will be immeasurable!! Cheers, Carl

Good on Ya, Ron. The YG Sub is a better choice than a 40mm DD.
