From now on I will only buy all precious metal watch models. I became spoiled rotten with this all gold Rolex Submariner-Date. I would imagine so! That watch is beautiful!

There's no turning back after. I would totally love to own a gold Rolex some day.

Well this makes job much easier. Thanks Welcome to the forum. Which models are you looking at? If you start a new thread in the Rolex subforum, I'm sure people will chime in with the pros/cons (as they see them) to help you out.

As Roger said, maybe you can narrow it down to one or two models and then we can review the pros and cons. Welcome to the forum by the way, you've found a great group of guys and gals here.

That's great accuracy Ron. Do you rotate the crown up/down when it's resting on the table at night to help with the regulation or just set it down the same way all the time?

I've always been amazed by the fact that they're able to achieve this with a mechanical movement. When you do take it off at night are you putting it down with the dial facing up? I'm just curious. That's how I leave mine at night now.
