For the month of September, my Rolex 116618LN has lost twenty seconds in thirty days. I wind my watch twice a week, Mondays and Fridays. I wear the watch twelve hours a day. When I put my watch to bed at night I have the watch dial facing up.

Who needs a quartz with accuracy like that? Those updated Rolex movements seem to be outstanding in regards to accuracy. Can't wait to hear how he goes in October.

That's one heck of a timekeeper. Nice to see it doing so well still.

Great results! I really need to get a watch with one of the updated movements (3186). Mine does very well but the parachrom hairspring seems superior.

Mine are both 3186 and they both succeed at keeping bad time. Neither one is within cosc.

Mine are both 3186 and they both succeed at keeping bad time. Neither one is within cosc. They are both new - take them in for warranty service, or are you waiting closer to the end of the warranty period?

I don't think any of my COSC certified watches are really within -4 to +6 after a day of wearing. Which leads to the question of the day... How do you keep it within COSC? The dial up, dial down, crown up, crown down at rest placement is just too much to maintain. My Tissot T-Touch quartz is the most accurate.

This is actually rather interesting. I know my watch has been kept in various positions over night to compensate for the seconds gained / lost during daily wear. Before I always thought it shouldn't even matter because the COSC certified pieces are tested in 5 positions at 3 different temperatures. My Omega's were insanely accurate. My Rolex is fairly good but could be a lot better. Gaining / losing about 2 mins per month. Not so bad yeah but my Omega was bang on about 1 second per day. Ah well, hopefully I can find some more answers and insight regarding this.

Some consistent accuracy with this watch! Can't wait to see how the Day-Date does!
