UPS dropped this off at work today. A sibling for the SNZH53. And after removing a few links. Have to say the bracelet looks and feels cheaper than the one on the SNZH but feels more comfy. I got another package in mail today from bradystraps. Cheers, Mark

Looks great Mark - vintage styling with a jubilee style bracelet. What's not to like. Enjoy!

Oh man congratulations! I have the same Seiko right now on the shopping cart on Amazon.com but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I was too quick on the draw when I posted. The straps are for the SNZH. I'll post a picture after changing them out. As for straps on the SKX I see I need unique spring bars. Do you think jewellers would carry those or are internet retailers a better option?
Thanks, Mark

Cool watch! Seiko divers really appeal to me (and many others, of course). Your best bet may be sourcing those springbars online. If you have an AD around it's always worth calling them up first to see so you can comparison shop. Post the after pictures when ever you can.

I own that watches brother, the Skx009. It is a great watch. I know they use Seiko fat bars, but you should be able to use the bracelet bars on an aftermarket strap. If memory serves, it takes a 22 mm strap. Congrats on a very nice Seiko diver.

That is a beautiful diver. Looks pretty hefty, too. What is the case size?

That is a beautiful diver. Looks pretty hefty, too. What is the case size? Carl, it is a very popular Seiko diver. The diameter is 40 mm sans the crown. It is 13 mm thick, and has a 22 mm lug width. You can get it with a jubilee or oyster bracelet. It is a very nice watch for the money, and has great wrist presence. Here is a fresh pic of my SKX009; same watch in the Pepsi version:

I like the Pepsi very much, and the Jubilee bracelet is a nice touch as well.

I have decided to order the super oyster from Strapcode. It's true what they say, this watch is a gateway drug...BTW how is the chapter ring alignment on yours? Mine's out by a smidge. By the sound of it that's common also. Mark

Great score! Love the jubilee, too. You should be able to get spring bars directly from COSERV in Mahwah, NJ. The number should be in your owners manual.
