Yes, there are 8 models currently in the lineup, some with bracelets, some with straps. Prices will be in the $325US to $375US range. Thats GREAT news thanks for sharing its about time we could get our hands of the real deal Seikos. At that price we can all buy them. Thats always been the problem with the high end Seikos they only sell them in Japan. I think those watches would sell very well in the US market.

Woah...that's a sweet watch, but for $2.4K think I'll have to pass. Not saying that it's not worth it because it most definitely is. Did you already give him your CC # Jim? ;D

I haven't gone that far yet Sam but from what I understand this guy is a trusted source for Japan only watches and comes recommended. He doesn't actually have it in stock but can obatin NIB in a matter of 3 days. Buying from him would of course be a matter of trust considering its overseas and I have no recourse if something goes arye but like I said it seems many WIS have done business with Higuchi, I'll give it a few days thought, but I really do want that model.

I have purchased from Higuchi before and you can't beat him for fair dealing and customer service. I still haven't gotten word back from him on the 6R15 models.

You may want to check your spam filter, sometimes those mess up incoming emails. Course it is the weekend. I emailed him last night around 8:00pm and this morning I had two emails from him, thats pretty quick considering hes in Japan.
I'm still considering it, I know the watch has alot of pluses but that is quite a bit of money for any watch in my opinion.
I do think the asking price of $2440 USD is fair for NIB considering I've seen them sold used for $2,500. I feel he can be trusted, it just sucks to have to make a deal with no control of anything and if it gets caught in Customs I'm screwed, they may even keep it, and he did warn me about this so overall he appears be a fair man.

I don't know why customs would keep it, since it's perfectly legal for him to sell it to you in the US. The worse that could happen is that you will get stuck for the duty on a $2500 item.

I'm not sure that would happen but I suppose its possible because the product is not sold here and is a Japan only model, so someone with a stick in their arse might decide to confiscate it as illegally imported goods.

Jim...I think duty would be the worst thing that would happen. As far as confiscating the watch...Rolex is probably the only one you'd have to worry about that happening to.
