Thank you for the shout out and best wishes! Yes the Rolex ADs tends to play their games with most their clients. Do you personally like this colorway? I know its a subtle change, but I think it is this feature that will attract the masses since it can be worn with any outfit and occasion. It's boring, but the Submariner Date is more boring and ultimately the MOST in demand watch in the catalog. The Sub is many peoples Grail watch. AD manager told me they have 1 SS GRNR for allocation this year since it was just released last month. They are expecting 6 SS GRNR / year, but the waitlist of requests are already just a long as the Batman and Sprite in their store. Pepsi is 20x longer than the Batman and Sprite lol. I do like it, but prefer my discontinued LN version: For someone who wants an even more versatile/subtle GMT this new one is the next best thing in my eyes. It also depends on the preference of the owner or what else is in their collection. For me at this stage the others which stand out more from the other watches I already have would easily be my choice (if they were actually available). Hopefully the AD at least has a display only model so you can see one and decide if it's worth the premium to you.

Welcome to the forum! I hope that you're successful in the pursuit of this piece from an AD.
A few weeks ago I called the largest Rolex authorized dealer (AD) in Canada to see how long wait lists were for this and the 126610LN Submariner. It turns out they have so many on the list in a matter of hours / days that they've stopped taking names. In some cases people lower down on the list without they purchase history could be waiting years, I bet.
This however doesn't mean it isn't possible or that it is as bad everywhere else, but there's a reason some have been paying the premiums at grey market dealers (resellers) vs. having a seemingly endless wait.

Very nice! I like that the entire outfit is connected to aviation! The watch goes incredibly well with this.

Nothing boring about that piece or the Explorer at all! Wish I also had them in my collection.

This style and design seems to be rather popular. Good to see though, as enthusiasts can enjoy it without having to try get one of the popular models that inspired this trend.

Glad you're getting some well deserved rest between completing this. That watch is stunning by the way, my goodness. It looks rather nice in direct sunlight.
